RANZCP changes: a 'tremendous coup' or same-same?

Radical changes proposed to the RANZCP governance structure have split critics lobbying for change. Under the changes proposed by General Council, RANZCP’s 26-member governing General Council would be replaced by a group of ‘at least’ seven Board Directors, who would receive advice from a larger Members Advisory Council, who elect the Board. Many of the 72 recommendations require constitutional change and will be put to the membership by postal vote in June, giving all members the opportunity to vote. They must receive 75% support to be implemented.
